What Is The Use Of Betnesol Injection During Pregnancy?

i have completed my 31st week of pregnancy. mine is rh positive. the scan report show that everything is normal and fine, but why the doc. asked me to take betnesol inj. 6 ampules, first day 3ampules and 3 ampules after 24 hrs. does it will have any problem?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion betnesol injection is given for the lung maturity and to avoid complications of preterm baby in case of suspicion of preterm delivery.The betnesol injection doesn't harm.Dont worry.
