What Is The Treatment To Get Rid Of Work Stress?

I am experiencing a tremendous amount of stress due to work. It has cause my migraines to increase from about twice a year to about twice a week I don't sleep well at night because I dread going to work. I finally saw a doctor (I could not see my regular doctor as he was booked) his back up doctor wrote me off for 10 days until I can see my regular pcp. I am trying to go out on short term disability due to my stress. Do you think my regular dr will do this for me. I can't handle the stress any more

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. You need to understand the situation. If you know that the stress is due to your work and work atmosphere, the better option is always to amend the reason.

You have two options. Either adjust with the job pressure and be calm. So many busy scheduled people do so. They are passionate about their work and even though they have to work over time to complete a task, they are happy , privileged. That is what a job passion does to you.

Or you have to quit the job and find a less demanding job. You may sometimes get lesser salary package. That is negligible comparing to the peace of mind you may get.

For the time being, I advise you to take a vacation and think over the above possibilities.
