Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Lichen planus is an autoimmune condition. It can involve the skin as well as the oral mucosa and nails. It presents as itchy, purple/red, pruritic, polygonal, papules on the skin. Oral involvement can be in the form of reticular, lacy pattern Or it can be in the form of erosions and ulcers.

Treatment options for generalised disease are: Oral as well as systemic steroids, topical immunomodulators like tacrolimus, Oral hydroxychloroquin, Oral Dapsone.

Limited disease or localised disease is managed with just topical steroids and topical immunomodulators like tacrolimus.

An OTC antihistamine like cetrizine once or twice daily would help with the itch part.

The disease has an overall good prognosis and resolves with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

The medicine that you are currently on does not mention a topical steroid, though you are being adequately treated for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation with triglow and kojivit. Venusia is a moisturizer whereas mybryl is for itching. I would have wanted to add a topical steroid cream too. As I don't know the severity of your condition therefore it would be difficult for me to comment on whether you need an oral medication or not.

regards
