What Is The Treatment Of Lyphedema ?

I live in Athens, Al (near Huntsville). I have lyphedema in both legs and right arm. I have had three cancers: desmoid (abdominal wall), lung cancer and merkel cell. I have had lymph nodes removed from three places in my arm because of merkel cell. The desmoid tumors (5) left me with 3/4 of wall in mesh which is in bend of left leg. I lost lower right lobe of lung. I have had two back surgeries and a total knee. My lypmphatic system has been invaded a lot. I need a lymphedema specialist in North Alabama or Birmingham. Do you have any to recommend?Sorry, I had no idea this was a money-making website. I know you need you time compensated, but no thank you.

HI

Treatment of lymphedema are sleeves, bandages, and pumps help lymph flow out of the arm, hand, trunk, or other body part affected by lymphedema.

Others involve making lifestyle changes such as skin protection, exercise, and losing weight that are shown to help the lymphatic system.
