What Is The Treatment Given For Pain In The Tongue?

Hi, I have a small sharp pain coming from the bottom of my tongue. I can't eat right and I speak slurred at times so I took a look at my tongue and I found a piece of meat or skin hanging from it. the piece is hard so I know its not just skin what could it be and what could I do to treat it?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the sharp pain in the bottom of your tongue could be because of an ulcer secondary to trauma like tooth brush injury or from any food items...or it can be an aphthous ulcer... you can take topical anesthetic and analgesics..the white tissue might be tissue tag from the ulcer....consult a oral physician to rule out other conditions.. i hope my answer will help you..take care...
