What Is The Treatment For Vomiting And Diarrhea?
My husband has had vomiting and diarrhea for 5 weeks. He has gotten worse over the last week. He has eaten very little this week because he throws up afterwards. He has no fever or cold symptoms. Our doctor has sent him for some blood work but no stool or urine samples testing. He sometimes throws up even I when he hasn't eaten only small amounts of water.

Your husband might be suffering from Acute Gastroenteritis. Vomiting and diarrhea is common and often associated with fever. For vomiting, he must be given a shot of ondansetron injection. For diarrhea, Antibiotics like norfloxacin and tinidazole can be given for 5 days. From hydration should be maintained with electrolyte solution.
