What Is The Treatment For Vision Loss Caused By An Accident?
Hi Doctor, I am Maurice Kenneth Camua from the Philippines, I met a motorcycle accident after one week treatment in the hospital my left eye cannot see, loss vision. My left face was damaged in the accident and after one month I had a eye CT-Scan , the result is unremarkble CT SCAN of the Orbits and eye parts normal. due to inflammation of my left eye for more then one month my eye still blind. Then I find another doctor he finds that my optic nerve is a problem due to previous eye inflammation there is a blockage and no blood supply that cause loss my vision. My question is that what treatment and remedy could you give me to left eye to see again and can any procedures help restore my eye sight. Hope for your reply Thanks and God Bless, Maurice Kenneth

Optic nerve injury after trauma is difficult to recover and prognosis depend on the re establishment of blood supply to the nerve which is rare . Vitamin B helps in re innervation rarely but worth a try.
