What Is The Treatment For Tinnitus?

Hi Doctor Have a hissing sound in both ears. I only noticed it 3 days ago and am beginning to wonder if it was always there, but I don t think so.. I had a severe gum disease about 2 weeks ago which is being treated, could there be any link? I m 5ft10 approx 11.5 stone female

It can be tinnitus. Severe pain can cause tinnitus in some individuals.

Generally, it will settle by itself without any consequences. You can try drugs like betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
