What Is The Treatment For Tenderness And Painful Stinging Sensation In Knee And Calf?

Hi - I have tenderness and a painful stinging sensation just below the knee in the back of the upper calf of one leg. It doesn t hurt when I walk and there is no noticeable swelling, but I do see the blood vessels below the skin (not varicose). The main pain comes when I bend that knee in a certain way, or press on the area. If I don t touch it, or bump it, etc. it doesn t hurt, but I know it will in an instant if I make the wrong move. This has been going on for 3 or 4 days. Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having a muscular pain.

You should do hot fomentation and apply locally pain relieving gel or oil.

For severe pain, you can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day.

Also get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
