What Is The Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node In The Ear?

I have a swollen lymph node behind my right ear. I am concerned about a brain tumor. I have had muscle spasms all over my body and numbness in my pinky. I also get headaches which are common for me. I got my eyes checked and they said my eyes are perfectly normal and that i most likely don t have a brain tumor because of it. But this swollen lymph node has raised my concerns.

Hello,

There are 2 main reasons for swollen lymph node behind your ear:
1. Ear infection
2. Bad tooth or throat infection

Get your ears and throat checked by ENT specialist, and your teeth by a dentist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
