What Is The Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node Closer To The Armpit?
Hi, Doctor,
I had an ultrasound for a swollen lymph node closer to the armpit last summer, it is a 8mm lymph node. I didn't really feel any pain until this Jan, 2011. I went to see OB/GYN in May. But before I went to see the Dr about one week before, it was gone and my Dr. can't feel any swollen lymph node, too. So, there is nothing done by that time. but After I visited my Dr. two weeks later, this pain starts again although the size is much smaller than before, but I still can feel the pain when I touch it or during the night sleep when I change my side to sleep. I am very concerned about breast cancer, my next Appt. with my OB/Gyn is in July. Should I wait for the Appt. or seek for care immediately?! Thanks!

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that this could be single lymph node swelling and this is some time very common clinical picture seen and this is nothing to worry this would come around soon take care and have a nice day.
