What Is The Treatment For Sudden Increase Of Blood Pressure,racing Heart Followed By Vomiting,diarrhoea And Fainting?

Over this past year I ve been experinging episodes of sudden increase of blood pressure/ racing heart that wakes me up out of a dead sleep, often followed by, vomiting, diareaha, need to urinate and fainting. I ve been hospitalized 3 times for these episodes. I was told that these were sycope episodes brought on by dehydration and low blood pressure and stress. I just went for a second opinion and was told that it is more probable that I have a Adrenal Secreting Tumor. I feel like I am a prisoner in my own body and just want to get to the bottom of this, because it is controlling my life. What is the best course of action that I should take. I just want to make this go away. Laurie

Hi Laurie,

Your worries might be ended if you:
- get physically checked by GP, endocrinologist, cardiologist to run out endocrinological and cardiac issues
- run cardiac tests: EKG, stress test, Holter monitoring
- run hormonal tests to exclude hormonal issues
- do abdominal ultrasound
- do a complete blood work
- measure blood sugar

Depending on the test results, specific treatment will be prescribed. For the moment, should monitor blood pressure and limit salt intake.
