What Is The Treatment For Squint In Eye?

Hi, My name is Amit aged 25 years and I am from Bangalore, India. I am having Squint in the left eye. The way I identified it. One day many of them started mocking at me and started to act weird and since that day of my schooling I felt shy to even face them and felt infierior to them. On checking with the mirror while combing the hair I saw a difference in the sight and after checking for several times and confirming I got to know that the Left eye ball sees 180 degree opposite off the right, however I can focus straight on the entity which I want to see properly without diversion like normal people with the right eye. I have consulted Narayana Netralaya in Bangalore, Cord road, Rajajinagar, Beside to ISKCON and all they said that my left eye is dead and it is of no use to either correct it or leave it. I have also consulted several eye doctors including Shakara Netralaya in Bangalore and they too mentioned the same thing and I have been wearing glasses for more than 14 years now since the time being in school. I have tested myself just to check if the doctors were right about it, however I feel the doctors are just joking with me as I tried closing right eye with hands or clothes and checked if left eye is really dead, but I can partially see so I believe either doctors are joking with me or they do not want to correct the eyes. I feel ashamed to move in public, mingle in social or with people as they tend to see me as an handicap and literally some people illtreate me. I just tend to move careless at it because when I stand in front of the mirror I see exactly what others see it even with glasses. Whenever I approach a eye doctor or an optician all they do is just ignore the squint issue and check the eye power and give another glass with different levels via., right with lesser (-0.25) and left with higher (+0.25) stating that giving something is better than nothing as they tend to say left eye if dead and they can do nothing with it. What I really want to know is that Is there a real way to rectify the issue? Or just leave the eye just as it is now? I fear if this issue does not cause any harm to right eye

My opinion is your vision in left eye is less than right eye which deviates and causes squint, this can be corrected by glasses. if it is more than 4.00 D plus or minus you have to undergo surgery. So consult squint specialist for treatment.
