What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat?

HI, I just noticed that I have a little white looking skin tag on the inside of my mouth to the side of the back of my tongue. It feels like I have something stuck (not serious) but annoying. Any suggestions? Also the past month I have had a sore throat that comes and goes, along with bad sinuses. I don't smoke or drink 39m

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat which seems to be mainly due to bacterial infection, tonsils infection and poor oral hygiene leading to strep throat. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses several times a day. Take ibuprofen and proper course of antibiotics. Avoid hot sharp and spicy food substances.
You should take anti inflammatory medications such as levocetirizine. Take benadryl. Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test or throat swab test to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe broad spectrum antibiotics like amoxicillin for at least two weeks .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
