What Is The Treatment For Sinus Infection?

I have left sphenoid sinus muscosal thickening and mild polypoid mososal thickening on right sphenoid sinus. I have had a real bad head ache for months and have sinus infection 4 or 5 times a year that last for a couple of mnths to 4 months. What can be done? I am seeing a ent Dr tomorrow.

Household remedies are - steam inhalation 3-4 times a day for 2-3 min., drinking lots of warm water, use of saline nasal spray and avoiding coffee. Upon visiting your doctor, he may prescribe steroid nasal spray, mucolytics and antibiotics if necessary.
