Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome in HCM
I have gone through your concern and i will try to help you.

According to the history you have difficulty in breathing mainly during the night and laying down.
I strongly recommend you to do some tests for the lungs especially:
Hemogram
CRP
Chest x ray
Spirometry test with b/dilatators
EKG
Prick test
After having the results the pulmonologist will for sure prescribe to you some medications like inhalers ( Ventoline + Seretide) maybe oral corticosteroids for several days, some mucolitics and you will feel better again.
If you smoke you have to stop it immediately.
If you are obese you have to lose weight to do some exercises physical activity,a lot of liquids.
So consult a specialist please.
