What Is The Treatment For Severe Eye Pain?

The last week my left eye has been feeling bruised. I went to the eye hospital and they said my eyes were fine. I saw my gp and he gave me antibiotics for sinus but the bruised feeling is still there. There are no other signs just the bruised feeling. What could this be?

Hello,

Sinusitis can cause retrobulbar pain( pain behind and around the eyeball) due to the close proximity of the sinuses to the eyes. Once the sinusitis subsides the eye pain will also subside. Continue with the antibiotics and decongesants prescribed.
