General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your pelvic pain could be due to cystitis, pelvic inflammatory disease.
I advise you to consult the gynecologist and undergo following investigations:
For Pelvic pain: urine routine and microscopic, USG scan, CBC, ESR.
For PCOS: Reproductive hormone analysis, Ovarian follicle study, blood glucose and lipid profile.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet pyridium and nitrozolium
Antibiotic like cefixime.
Syrup cital. Drink plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple.
For PCOS:
To regularize the period: birth control pill or progesterone pill
Metformin to regularize the glucose homeostasis.
Do regular exercise and lose 10-12% body weight if you are obese.
Avoid excessive sweets, alcohol and salts.
Take more green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits.
Hope this may help you
