What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Lung Area?

Hi I am a 37 yr old female. For the last two weeks I have had a really strange pain in the right back of lung area. It occasionally goes to the left side. It is worse when I am really hungry . it hurts to take a deep breath . Only occasionally I have been getting breathless with it and sometimes the pain moves to the middle chest area. I do suffer from high blood pressure which I take Losartan 50mg once daily , simvistain 40mg for high cholesterol and salbutamol and seretide 100 inhaler for mild asthma. I was taking Ramipril 10mg up until 5 weeks ago when I was switched to Losartan due to a chronic dry cough. The cough has since gone away and is now only occasional . I have been suufering with indigestion a lot more than normal too

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, in my opinion you are mostly having GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
Your symptoms like indigestion, central chest pain, right sided back pain, more on empty stomach etc are suggestive of GERD more.
You are also taking drugs like simvastatin, losartan, inhaler etc. All these can also cause GERD.
So better to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in GERD.
1. Avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Start proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
4. Go for walk after meals. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in the bed to prevent reflux.
Since all these are prescribed medicines, you need to consult doctor for their prescription.
Don't worry, you will be alright. Wish you good health. Thanks.
