What Is The Treatment For Numbness?

hi. im 26 weeks pregnant. For the past month or two I have been having a lot of numbness in my front upper right leg. the past couple weeks it has been getting much worse. this past week it has been randomly feeling really hot on the inside. it also feels like I have a bug crawling on me around my upper knee but don t. sometimes my upper leg will feel itchy, but when I itch it I cant feel it so it doesn t help. this past week right above my knee it has started to feel sore. The best way I can describe to feeling all together is that I got burnt really bad on my leg. I go to a chiropractor twice a week for adjustments, it helps with everything but the leg right now. Just wondering if you have heard of this before and what I could do to help it.

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Numbness in your leg is known during pregnancy because this is caused form the position of your baby.
Sometimes baby can compress neural structure of your leg ,causing you numbness.
When this sign is intense try to provoke movements of your baby ,in this way baby can change position ,or try to lay down and turn in the counter part of your leg that you have numbness.

if this sign deteriorates make a consult with your doctor .
