I had my nose cauterized 11 days ago due to nosebleeds. I used a saline spray and now it started bleeding. I pinched my nose for 10 minutes and it stopped. I have been blowing my nose in over the last 11 days. I have not been blowing my nose out during this same time. The doctor said not to blow your nose for 14 days. Did he mean not to blow your nose both in and out? I have been using the neti pot since 2007 so my nose feels more congested. What will be the treatment now?

Blowing out nose will cause increase in intra thoracic pressure and thus nasal veins gets engorge.
Similarly blowing in will lead to removal of nasal crust from bleeding site and re bleeding will take place.
