What Is The Treatment For Non-toxic Goiter?

hi doctor.I am 35 yrs old female-i have non-toxic goiter according to my doctor because of the result of my biopsy more than 2yrs already.I take euthyrox 100mg every morning before breakfast.every 6 months 1 have an ultra sound if thier is changes but the result of my last ultra sound is still the same compare to the previous result..

Hi Thanks for posting your query.
Non toxic goitre means there is no hypersecretion from thyroid gland . As long as it is non toxic and enlarging and not causing any compression symptoms like hoarseness of voice difficulty in swallowing there is no need for any other treatment like surgery but you need to continue taking medicine and get ultrasound every 6 months.
