Hello
Hsv is a virus having many types predominantly 1 and 2 .It can cause mainly skin nerve and genital infection. When we get infected our body produces immunoglobulin which can be detected in blood (Ig) .But in your case your IgG is reactive which may indicate past or recent infection. If IgM by EIA is negative then it is mostly a case of past infection. The treatment can be told only by your doctor after taking complete history and examination. Also you have not mentioned your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query.
