What Is The Treatment For Loss Of Control On Body Movements?

my husband is 58yrs smoker has medication for blood pressure/cholesterol. He has stents in his heart and has had 3 heart attacks the first when he was 34yrs. He has started to lose control of his movements, after coughing he sometimes loses control of the left side of his body or the whole top part of his body. It looks as though he is having a stroke or a fit, it only lasts for a few seconds and he recovers quicky.
