What Is The Treatment For Herpes?

hi i have no insurance and i have herpes .i am breaking out around mu butt and i have areas which are red please help me to get some medications or tell me what to get for this disconfort i make 10 dollars per hour and i live a senseless life i feel like i m worthless i m always depressed

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Firstly it has to be determined whether you are having herpes or not. If its herpes, then a course of oral acyclovir or valaciclovir should be started as soon as you get the erosions or fluid filled blisters. Topically to help the lesion heal fast, any antibacterial cream can be used like mupirocin or fusidic acid. Recurrence of herpes usually has some tell tale signs like itching, numbness or stinging in the area. At this stage, one can use acyclovir cream to prevent the lesions from occuring.
