What Is The Treatment For Hard Lump Under The Belly Button?

I had a laparoscopy and afterwards a hard lump appeared under my belly button so they prescribed me metronidazole? Why when the doctor told me it was caused from bruising and its a big ball of blood? How long until this goes away? Are the doctors just lieing to me?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some hematoma or bruise. Or it can be some abscess or infection. Because metronidazole has no role in simple bruise. It is antibiotic and used in infection. Do consult your doctor and search for exact diagnosis and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
