What Is The Treatment For Enlarged Liver?
I am 70 year old senior with " enormously enlarged liver " ,color of my nails,skin,urine & stool are now very very yellow ( like yellow mustard ),
I dont eat any kind of fat,meat,fish, but only vegeterian food,oatmeal with skim milk & little " splend sweatner ". Would be eternally grateful/thankful if you could prescribe a treatment. Thank you & may GOD bless you.

Hello,
You are having jaundice and acute hepatitis is strongly suspected here.
Investigations to be done are as follows:
• USG abdomen
• CBC with PS examination and reticulocyte count
• Serum HBsAg detection by Elisa
• HAV and HEV by Elisa
• Serum bilirubin
For jaundice stop oily diet. Boiled vegetables and skimmed milk are beneficial. Take apple juice, sugarcane juice, orange juice, and coconut water more, mashed green leafy vegetables can be taken. You have to completely take rest for jaundice. Udiliv syrup or tablet can be prescribed. Consult a physician for examination and discuss all these.
