If you are not having any symptoms, and your doctor has done a biopsy and is sure there is minimal chance of a cancer, then there is little risk to just monitoring it with ultrasounds every six months or so to make sure it is not growing rapidly. However, your doctor will probably want to do a uterine biopsy, if that hasn't already been done. There may have been other findings that I am not aware of that heighten the risk for cancer, you need to ask your doctor whether he./she thinks that such a risk exists. If they are concerned about that possibility, you may need to choose the surgery.
