What Is The Treatment For Bruising Of A Toe Nail?

Around 4 months ago I dropped the base to a table on my big toe, the table must of weight around 15-20kg and for the first few hours I couldn t moe it at all. And from then I blue/purple bruise has remained and now I have been noticing some black, the toe works normal and no pain comes from it, I would like to know what it is and how it s treated (if possible). Thanks Kyle

Hi,

You seem to have developed a hematoma beneath the nail. It will take few months to resolve and if it doesn’t improve consult a doctor and get this nail removed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
