What Is The Treatment For Bruising In Left Foot?

I slipped 10 days ago and landed on my Left knee. I had some swelling but no bruising. now I am getting bruises on my Left foot 10 days later. I have not injured my foot and my leg is tender to the touch from the knee down to my foot. should I get this checked out?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this bruise. A bruise lasting ten days need to be checked. This may be a more concerning condition like thrombosis. I will suggest that you get examined to rule out any potentially dangerous condition and manage the symptoms appropriately. Try cold packs and maybe some pain medications. Your primary care doctor would be able to assist you through this.

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health.
