What Is The Treatment For Black Stools?

hi, my child is of 3 months and having heart problem i.e, large vsd, so he has been given victofol syrup and ciplar 10 tablets. now when he does poti , there are some black colour lumps and the colour of liquid is also of black colour..is that a major problem to be taken care.

Vitcofol syrup may also cause black stool due to its iron content and this is not a major problem.
But as the child is also on ciplar , I will suggest a follow up visit to the cardiac specialist as further lab studies like bleeding profile and CBC etc may be required.
