Suggest Treatment For Gastritis And Dyspepsia

Hello, I was diagnosed with gastritis and dyspepsia on October 15th. I went to the ER and they tested my stool and did 5 counts of blood work on me. My stool was black due to pepto bismal and since then I haven t black stools until today I was surprised to see black stools. I have been taking prenatal one multivitamins this is my second day and also I have a sinus cold that I am recovering from which I was taking benadryl-D allergy and sinus syrup medicine. Could these two be the reason why I m having dark or black stools? I also get acid reflux sometimes.

Acid eructations and black stools could be gastritis an malena get a stool for occult blood done and a ugie done. Take pantoprazole, esomeprazole and antacids and cold milk diet only. Consult a gi specialist.
