What Is The Treatment For Bed Wetting To A 16 Year Old?
hello doc, my daughter is 16 yrs old and is still wetting the bed. we have tried medicines like minrin for two months, but there is no improvement. now we have started using a homoepathic medicine R74 for the past two weeks without improvement. it has to be used for another 2-3 weeks according to them. so can you suggest a cure.
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Bed wetting is not a disease until there is no control over bladder movement. Medical reasons are Low anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) and Although a child's true bladder size may be normal, "during sleep, it sends the signal earlier that it's full. Discuss with your doctor for correct diagnosis.
If it is due to lack of proper training, I shall suggest one perfect method. Set alarm for every two hours. Get up and make her urinate. Use force if required. Then make her to drink water and sleep again. Get up at the next alarm and do the same thing. The problem should be solved after a week or so.
For more psychotherapy techniques, You can post a direct question to me in this website. Include every detail as much as you can. I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques to control your condition. I am sure that the techniques should be a success.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
