My Girlfriend has only one tonsil, it is swollen w/ white spots and her ears are ringing, she is currently taking amoxicillan, it has helped very little ...500mgs dose, for about a week now. She sings professionally and is a breast cancer survivor for 5 years. Your opinion will be helpful

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. She may have tonsillitis or tonsiller abscess or other problems. It leads to infection in ear also. She should take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin or levofloxacin or augmentine 625. She should also take antihistaminics. These all are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Her prior breast cancer had no relation with tonsils. So don't worry about that.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
