What Is The Supplement Safe To Take For A Gastric Bypass Patient?
I am a 40yr old female gastric bypass patient 6 years out. I want to begin my dream of bodybuilding. I want to know which supplements/preworkouts/postworkouts things that I can take that are safe for my GB status. Also, I want to explore products that assist in gaining muscle mass as I still struggle with the loose skin side effects from my surgery. I have it on my arms, back, inner thighs. I wan tto try and reshape this into muscle before I consider any more additional surgery. Your thoughts...
Looking at the past history of surgery, it is not advisable for you to go for any work out just for body build up but it is advisable to have balance diet try to keep physically and mentally fit. Else you will have to see the dietician and fitness instructor but prior to this it is better to have second opinion from surgeon. As long as the post surgery effect of skin is concerned, it will be okay with the time if it is more loosen or laxation of skin fold then additional surgery can be thought.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
