What Is The Suggestion For Severe Headache, Diarrhea And Stomach Pain?
I have had severe diarrah, stomach pain, and severe headache for 4 days now. Unable to eat anything. I am 64 years old. I rarely ever get sick, but this has gone on for many days and I m desperate for help. If not better by tomorrow I will go to the doctor.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about a 64 year old patient having diarrhea, pain in abdomen and headache for 4 days. Unable to eat anything, never got sick before this time hence worried, planning to go to the Doctor if you are getting no relief... As per the history you have provided, this looks to be gastroenteritis causing septicemia and hence the headache. I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor / ER immediately as it is already 4 days and you should not be really late. Tests of stool, blood, urine and ultrasonography. To get started on appropriate antibiotics, PPI, Domperidone antacid and as may be required after clinical evaluation and examination. This will solve your problem at the earliest.
