What Is The Solution For Severe Constipation And Passing Stools Only After An Enema?

I have been having trouble going to the bathroom the last 3 months. I usually only go once every two weeks and it is with an enema. Its very painful because by the time I use the enema its because I have to go so bad but its too big and hard. But the problem is I never feel like I have to go. Even if I go in and push it feels like there is nothing in there until almost exactly two weeks from my last enema and then all of a sudden I will be painfully constipated. Should I go ahead and take an enema even if I don't feel like I have to go since its already been a week. I don't want to wait two weeks and go through the pain I have been going through the last three months

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hearing about this recurrent constipation. The best way to handle this s to modify your diet. Increase fluids, fruits, vegetables and fibers intake. this will ensure that your stool doesn't get too hard and eases up defecation. If these proof ineffective in the beginning, intermittent use of laxatives like miralax would offer relief.

I would not particularly recommend this but if this is the only way out now, try it and get the advice above to help resolve this problem.

I hope you find this helpful. I wish you the best of health. Thank you so much for using our services and doo feel free to request for more information if need be.
