What Is The Remedy For Respiratory Infection?

My 7 month old has a slight Respiratory infection. More In her left lung.our nurse practitioner said there is nothing we can do but let it run it s course. Is this true or should I get another opinion. After sleeping her cough is very flemmy . What can I do to help. Thanks

hi kindly contact your child's specialist as your child may be suffering from pneumonia or bronchiolitis. from the history it's looking more like bronchiolitis which is a self limiting illness in majority with some kids requiring hospitalisation for respiratory distress. hope I'm not scaring you, but you have to show him to a specialist as he is too young to have localised chestiness. take care.
