What Is The Remedy For Hot Flashes, Night Sweats A And Acne When On 1mg Estradoil?

after having a partial hysterectomy in 2001 I started taking 1mg estradoil. Now 12 years later I am experiencing hot flashes, night sweats and acne. My doctor gave me clonidine instead of increasing my estradoil. I do not have cancer or high blood pressure. Which pill is better?

Hello!
Thanks for your query.
Clonidine can be used to treat hot flashes .Because it is a nonhormonal treatment ,women with a history of breast cancer can use it without any increasing the risk of further cancer growth(as in the case of estrogen treatment)
For acne you should consult with a dermatologist to determine the cause of them because the use of estradiol have no relation with acne.
Take medicines as prescribed from doctor .
Take care of your self
