What Is The Remedy For Body Rashes, High WBC And Diarrhea In A 8 Year Old?

8y old male child full body rash, uncontrollable fever, and high wbc.Not eating was throwing up think that stopped due to lack of eating and had diarrhea Any ideas? He is already in hospital in Devon Alberta, they are very puzzled as to the problem. His family is worried I am a close friend and trying to find any help with suggestions that they can try to look for and may not have yet thought of. Thank you for your valuable time and all suggestions you may have. They know for sure it s not scarlet fever for certain Best regards, Wendy

Dear Wendy, The presentation of sudden rash, high fevers not responding to Tylenol and a high white cell count may be indicative of a bacterial illness. His doctors will send cultures and rapid testing looking for the causes which include viruses, bacteria and possibly parasites. Drug reactions, Kawasaki's Disease, Autoimmune disease and Cancer may also present with these findings.
