What Is The Reason For Sulphurous Taste While Coughing?

Coughing up what tastes like dry brimstone--just a little thin but opaque mucus with rather unhappy pinky-brownish tinge, and feel very tired. I take tramadol for my arthritis several times a day--helps mask pain so I can keep moving and keep weight down so I don t have even more stress on joints, and so on...but, anyway, wondering what the sulphurous taste is about--nothing serious, right?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Tramadol is a good analgesic, but it is a central stimulant, can stimulate the cerebrum, and can have the rise of the B.P.
Which inturn can cause the gastric bleeding. Or the color of the mucous may be due to the infected respiratory tract secretions.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Though it is a good analgesic it should not be taken so often,to prevent the habit formation, and trouble in in withdrawal.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
