Hello,

I evaluated your query thoroughly. There are many reasons for intermittent loose motions as: Inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn disease, gut flora disturbances, intestinal TB, chronic colitis, hyperthyroidism, stress, and anxiety. Associated conditions involving pancreas, liver, biliary system, certain drug induced, and others.

This needs thorough clinical examination, supportive laboratory tests, ultrasonography of abdomen, pelvis; colonoscopy and CT abdomen pelvis in selected cases according to the clinician evaluation for the case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
