What Is The Reason For Bluish Ring Around The Anus?

I have a purplish/bluish ring around my anus. I noticed it last night and at the time it was kind of sore, but not to the point to where I couldn t sit down or even walk. In fact, it doesn t even hurt at all right now but the ring is still there. I m a server at a restaurant, which means I m on my feet and running around a lot and last night I worked a double shift. It was towards the end of my shift that I notice the soreness. And the thing is, I ve had that soreness issue before, but there was never that discolored ring. Should I be concerned?
