My friend has sarcomas in both his lungs after he had his arm amputated because of the cancer. He had a procedure on his lungs to help him breathe, but he seems to be unable to breath without oxygen now. I would like to see him and need to know if he is likely to be better than he is now?
Greetings. your friend is suffering from metastatic sarcoma and his lungs are badly affected. At this stage of the disease his prognosis is very poor. Mild form of chemotherapy can be tried in reduced doses but chances that he will respond to it also very bleak. He requires good palliative therapy for his breathlessness and pain. hope you can understand better now. regards
