my girlfriend said her period comes 1st week of the month and we have intercourse this july 28 it is safe or effecttive if she takes nordette-21 because the instruction say that use it in the 1day of the girl s period and how about the instruction use it within 3days unprotected sex? what instruction do we follow?

The recommended dose is 4 pills to start with food ,followed by 4 pills after 12 hours.
