I have been suffering with a heavy head cold, which always affects my sinuses. I woke during the night with a severe pain in my ear. All night it was cracking and I assume it is just a build up of mucus. This morning I was straining to vomit to get rid of the mucus in my throat and my ear cracked and a little blood (clear blood) came out. What is the possible cause and do I need to seek treatment. I canhardly her anything from my right ear.
