Hi Doctor,

My ultrasound report says:

SINGLE LIVE INTRAUTERINE EARLY PREGNANCY CORRESPONDING TO APPROX. 8wks 2days ± 1 wks OF GESTAION.

L.M.P: 26.11.13 EGA : 8wks 4days

Is this normal? also while conducting ultrasound doctor said it seems that their are twins. Please confirm from above opinion of ultrasound report

Hi. the period of gestation is exactly matching your LMP.It could have been 9 weeks report by now, but it is written+/- 1week . So you will have to follow your scan for proper growth. Since it is written single live fetus , so no chance of twins. They would have seen 2 gestation sacs, if it is twins. But be care ful about growth.Thanks.
