What Is The Lump On The Base Of My Hairline ?

I recently discovered a lump on the base of my hairline near my ear about the size of a grape. Then 3 near the base of my neck . I understand these are lymph nodes. I had a infected lymph node removed from my neck when I was 17. I m 35 now. My aunt had hodgkinsdisease. I have psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis . I started humeria 7 months ago. I have lost 25 lbs in 2 months. I have night sweats even though I sleep naked with a fan on full blast on me. Besides the prior surgery and family medical history all the other symptoms have rapidly occurred in the past 3 months. It seems lymphoma is the diagnosis I m looking at. I have blood work to take tomorrow as well as a chest and neck exray. No one will say what they think the actuall diagnosis is. Can someone Please just give me their opinion!! I need to know what my options might be. Thanks for your time

Hello. Welcome to HCM.

Having a positive family history and yourself suffering from RA (or any other autoimmune disorder) definitely increases the risk of lymphoma. But it does not mean that you definitely have lymphoma. Your scheduled tests are absolutely correct and will definitely help in forming an ap41propriate diagnostic. If required a repeat biopsy and FNAC can also be done. You also have chance of having tuberculosis (night sweats are very common in both) So its best to wait for results and let clinician act accordingly.
Bast of Luck.
