What Is The Life Expectancy For Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia?
Respected doctor my son is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia.pre-cursor B.He is on Regimen A. and has been given ALL2003 Protocol.what are his chances of survival and what impacts chemotherapy make on his physical and mental development in the long run ?

Prognosis depends on msny factors like wbc count, age, mediastinal involvement, FAB type, day 7 blast count in bone marrow and many others.
Still if treated well 5 year survival rate is high. If no relapse occur in 10 year then it is considered as cured.
