What Is The Home Remedy For Treating Major Swelling In Both Labias After Using Expired Baby Powder?
Hi. What home remedy would you recommend for treating major swelling in labia (both majora and minora) due to allergical reaction to an expired baby powder? Icing and soaking in warm water with salts don't help. The swelling didn't subside on it own on the 1st day, either. Please help.
Use cold water and not warm water or rather ice packs covered with cloth to help sooth the area. Benadryl syrup one teaspoon and acetaminophen tablet [ tylenol is the common brand] will help decrease the swelling due to allergy. [ remember you cannot drive after using bendaryl]
Use of betamethasone ointment once daily locally will also help decrease the allergy.
If it does not subside with this then you will need to see a doctor.
Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
